G10 Type E Type F Sealing Flange Insulation Kit Gasket

Flange is the most common trouble area, need to sealed properly to prevent leakage and must also be insulated to prevent stray currents which cause undo corrosion and eventual breakdown of the metal.
Flange Insulation Gasket Sets are used to solve the sealing and insulating problems of flanges, and to control losses due to corrosion and leakage of pipelines. They are widely used to seal flanges and control stray electric currents in piping at oil, gas, water, refinery, and chemical plants, to increase the effectiveness of cathodic protection systems.

Type E: a full-faced gasket with the same outside diameter as the flange and precision cut bolt holes. This design facilitates proper alignment of the gasket during installation and foreign material prevented from shorting the flange insulation. The type E gaskets are available in plain face or Neoprene face phenolic, as well as a variety of high temperature materials.

Type F: The gasket is made to fit the raised face portion of the flange only. As there are no bolts holes in the F style gasket, the inside diameter of the bolt hole circle is slightly smaller than the outside diameter of the gasket
